Let’s be honest….accuracy off the sticks

I sent you the videos. I find quad sticks a lot easier to operate alone than a tripod.

Thanks for the videos. Helpful.

Rudolph optics has two different types a true quad and one that also supports the rifle in similarly but a different design.

The PH previously mentioned here.

And the sniper quad.

Interested in any experience between the two.

I would personally stay away from any model that has a front V. I used that sniper model a limited amount in eastern cape because PH had pair. A flat front like PH model allows you to slide left and right without any tension in the rifle. If you need to adjust any amount for a walking animal on sniper model with V you will put spring tension into the rifle to push left or right and results in less accurate shots. For hunting choose the PH model of the 2 you listed.

Obviously, since I started this thread, I don’t have any experience with either, however looking at the sniper version, I would almost think the legs may flex a little more

That said my good friend @PARA45 uses Rudolph perhaps he will chime in

More impulse than anything, but I ordered the 4stablesticks @375Fox suggested though I have no doubt if para45 recommends the Rudolph, they are equally good.

You'll be fine with either (I have used both the Rudolph brand and 4stablesticks). The flat rest up front offers better opportunities moving laterally if needed. My 4 stablesticks do collapse to a shorter length and will go with me in my checked luggage next trip.

Hello there. I’ve been wanting to introduce myself personally & chat with you about hunting Nilgai. Give me a call sometime…

+1 Great to deal with. I purchased custom rifle. No issues.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary

Booked with Harold Grinde - Gana River - they sure kill some good ones - who'd you get set up with?
