Lion vs. Hippo

A hippo gets in an argument with a couple Lions...who is the king of beasts? This wild interaction took place in a wild area paid for by hunting.

they had killed a young hippo in the night (small being the skin and a few bones took 4 men to drag it off the beach!). I think they smelled my croc bait and came to investigate and killed the hippo as he was headed back to the water.

they also ripped the door and front off our croc blind...delayed our croc hunt a bit! We shot the croc the next day. We had lions, crocs, hippo, elephant, waterbuck, impala, and buffalo all seen from this grass teepee! I think we had about 5 females 2 juvenile lions 2 grown males and 1 big male with a black mane...All on one sand bar in the remote wilderness of the Selous GR Tanzania.
