cape buffalo / leopard safari

David,
Please check out my website for Touch Africa Safaris I believe that we take care of you and stay well below the $20,000 mark.

You can e-mail me at wagnerwwh@aol.com

Will also offer you that you can bring a non-hunter along for no charge.

Terry

Terry,

I emailed you a couple days ago and haven't heard back...thought maybe something got hung up in a spam filter. Can you confirm if you received it. Thanks

Hi David,

I found your e-mail in the Spam file. Sorry for the delay in answering your e-mail.

Thanks for your e-mail and interest in hunting with us. We currently are not hunting the Dande area and are conducting most all of our hunts in the Bubiana Conservancy. Due to quotas being filled for Buffalo and Leopard we have secured some hunts in other areas in the Omay as well as near Hwange National Park. At this point I have no Leopard availbale on quota for 2010 or 2011.

We conduct our safaris out of the 480,000 acre Bubiana Conservacy on Mjingwe Ranch which is 30,000 acres. As usual we continue to upgrade the Mjingwe Lodge to keep it comfortable and clean for our clients. Due to good rains this past season the ranch it self is looking fantastic and the game is all doing very well and thriving. The big dam has just been rebuilt after being damaged badly in 2007 and is full and has been spilling providing unlimited water to the game. On Mjingwe Ranch you will find Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Leopard, Eland, Sable, Kudu, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Giraffe, Impala, Warthog, Bushpig, Zebra, Duiker, Steenbuck, and Klipspringer.

Your point of arrival is Bulawayo Zimbabwe and you will be met there by your Professional Hunter and then transported to the ranch. The cost of roundtrip airport transfer is $200.00 .Your hunt will start the following day with the sighting in of rifles. If you choose to not take a rifle we do have good rifles available that you can use.

While hunting Cape Buffalo on Mjingwe you will find that they are inside a 17,000 acre fenced area and that all hunting is done on foot after travelling into the area. The reason for the enclosure is due to the threat of hoof and mouth. The Cape Buffalo are 10 days hunting @ $900.00 per day with the trophy fee being $2500.00. making the total cost $11,500.00 . You would then just have trophy fees for the Plains game. If you would like to both hunt a Cape Buffalo that would not be a problem but the daily rate and trophy fee would be $11,500.00 as well for you.

Your desire for Wildcat, Bushpig, Caracal, Serval, Civet, Honey Badger, Jackal, Warthog, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Cheetah, Eland, Waterbuck, Steenbuck, Klipsbringer, Grysbuck and Bushbuck be no problem with the very plentiful and of good trophy quality. We do not currently off Hippo or Croc.

While on Mjingwe we also offer the opportunity to shoot the abundance of birds that are available. There is also excellent fishing for bass and brim on the property. We can also offer you the opportunity to go up to Victoria Falls and do a little sightseeing and fishing for the highly sought after Tiger Fish. At Victoria Falls we stay at the Ultimate Safari Lodge which has 18 rooms, swimming pool and is located minutes from downtown and all the sights and activities Victoria Falls has to offer.

The hunting season runs from March through November and there is no bad time to hunt. Due to quotas on all species we are able to always offer quality trophies for each species. We also offer the opportunity to cull non-trophy animals for $35.00 per animal.

Please remember that we are offering you that a Non-hunter may accompany you on all hunts that are 10 days or more at no charge. This special offer will be good for the 2010 and 2011 season but must be secured by the end of March with a deposit.

Terry,
Thanks for the reply. To bad you don't have any Leopard on quota...I am really set on a buffalo / leopard combo. Hopefully someone will come along with an offer in my price range.

I am still looking for a quality buffalo / leopard hunt.

David,
Don't give up I have come up with more Leopard quota and will be getting in contact with you in the next 24 hours.

Terry

Hi Terry

Please may I ask you which part of the Omay you " have secured ' buffalo? I have the Omay north and south * the entire Omay ), and to date have not sold any buffalo to external operators, neither have I had any correspondence with you!

Kind Regards

Martin Pieters

I would suggest that you speak to Wayne Vandenberg as he is the one who we are working through.

This sounds interesting. Hope it all gets cleared up.

Terry, I suggest you get your facts right and you contact Wayne Van den Burgh, you are offering Buffalo on an open forum and I have all the quota. Until money changes hands, Wayne does not have a ' quota of buffalo' from me! You are basically selling something you do not have!

Kindly remove your post!!

Terry, I agree with Martin. If you are advertising hunts on my thread in an area you do not have quota please remove your post.

I have been in contact with Martin and everything is all straighten out. He has given Wayne Vandenberg quota to market. I am working with Wayne. I have never posted on this forum that I was offering buffalo in the Omay in a post. This came in a personal e-mail to someone that had made an inquiry.

Let Martin respond.

Glad to hear it's settled.

Hi David,

I found your e-mail in the Spam file. Sorry for the delay in answering your e-mail.

Thanks for your e-mail and interest in hunting with us. We currently are not hunting the Dande area and are conducting most all of our hunts in the Bubiana Conservancy. OK people - I did not intend for this post to turn into a battle of ethics. I was simply looking for a quality hunt at a price that suites my budget...its that simple. I also expect that only people with legitimate hunts or recommendations respond, however I do appreciate calling someone out on possible misrepresentation. I will surely screen everyone who comes forward with an offer very carefully. Can we get get back to the task at hand...finding me a hunt.

David,

Sorry about the previous post, I could not help myself....

Anyway,

Is there any particular country you are interested in?

Does it have to be an open area or is in a fenced area OK?

I recently noticed some good pricing in Namibia for leopard, but do not know if they could tie in buffalo.

The reason I ask is I receive emails from several operators that do not post on here that offer specials from time to time.

I am NOT a booking agent, my personal website is all for fun.

I also sent you a PM.

Hi David

I have some buffalo available in the Omay, let me know if you are still looking for something and I will get right back to you. Alternatively, if you would prefer to use an agent, I have an agent in the USA, Blair Worldwide , I know we have talked on email..........outfitters@blairworldwide.com

Kind Regards

Martin
