Hi everyone,

I''m a 29 yr old Zambian resident looking for information and a possible apprenticeship in Zambia. Id be available from beginning of may till end of September most years as i have farming commitments the rest of the year. I have extensive bush knowledge, as well as hunting experience on most plains game species found in Zambia with both a gun and a compound bow. I've been lucky enough to be mentored from a very early age by a well known retired Zambian PH (who can provide a reference if needed) and helped him with his game management on his conservancy. any information or possible leads would greatly be appreciated.

Regards
Mat

Hello Mat, welcome to AH!

Best of luck in your search! There are some Zambian sponsors on this website

Mat, have you spoken to anyone on the PHAZ committee?
there are loads of people on there that would give you better direction than most on here.
http://www.phazambia.com/membership-list/
this could be a starting point, try contact the committee members and ask them for advice and a way forward.
There are a number of very well known and well respected members on that list.

I know a few have taken on some apprentices recently.
Pete's suggestion is a good one.

Best of luck.

Thank you for your replies. In talks with the committee and have a few emails out to safari companies and we will see what happens
