More problems in Nigeria

The cowardly government there has no spine in dealing with these atrocities. Christians there feel like it’s open season on them yet they are not put off from assembling. Meanwhile here in the US a virus shut churches down nation wide. I got to meet an officer with a Gideons International camp there and he talked at length about these attacks.

A week or so ago I read a story of a female Nigerian student who made some sort of pro Christian or anti-radical Muslim remarks. Sorry I don't remember which. She was found at the school by a mob and beaten and stoned to death, maybe also burned, while the police watched.

While I was reading that story there were other stories highlighted with video of people doing horrific things to others in these third world countries. The ignorant, barbaric and animalistic tendencies that so many so called humans still exhibit are fascinating and as equally horrifying.

I’m always worried this will spill across border into Cameroon and largely put a stop to hunting there. It’s sad how few African governments can effectively govern their countries especially when there is so much potential to develop.

Outside of communism, Islam is the most blood-soaked movement in the history of the world.

I'm sure you are an educated man, what has changed throughout history? This is nothing new, we have it so good here that we can bitch about politics and who is the most screwed up. Karen's of the the country can play social media police. Our poor have 3 big screen TVs and have systems in place so they don't go hungry even if they sit on their butt 24-7-365.

Their is a reason a large number of people around the world want to come here. It would pretty much be everyday life a few hundred years ago what you are describing. Having been preached tolerance most of my life, it's concerning that you rarely see the other side reciprocate, weather that is religion, politics, social issues, rights as we know them in the US, and the list goes on and on.

It is only crazy because we have it so good here thanks to our heroes that keep it that way.

when and if their caught, it should be the end of them. it will not fix the univesal problem, but it will solve the indvigial problem. they will kill no more.

Your comments are only partially correct, based on my experience of having lived in Lagos for 6 years (2012-2018)
The northern part of the country is the lawless Islamic area. Boka Horam reigns there. In the south, the Christians and Muslims get along fairly well. Nigerians are very religious people. The tribal culture is as large or larger problem.

Thanks for posting it.

To a normal person that would just be a target rich environment. There was no GOOD and rational reason for them not be able to stop some crazies with literal sticks and stones.

I’m not certain by what you mean “only partially correct”? I did not state a region or specific area and seeing how these attacks are nothing new and no one is ever brought to justice I think the statement of the government not being interested is correct.

"only partially correct" was being kind.

KANO, Nigeria, May 12 (Reuters) - A female Nigerian student was beaten to death and set on fire by fellow students who accused her of posting "blasphemous" statements in a student Whatsapp group, two witnesses and police said.

The school, located in Nigeria's northwesternmost state of Sokoto, was immediately closed down following the attack.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of the student, who was identified as Deborah Samuel, said a spokesperson for the Sokoto state command. Reuters was not able to reach her family for comment.

In light of the fact that Christians there and around the world are being increasingly persecuted, worrying about a hunting problem is a sad indictment of the way human's think nowadays. Shouldn't be surprised though, as we've been slaughtering millions on innocent, unborn babies for years and nobody gives a crap about that either.
