Has anyone had any experience with Luambeze Safaris (posted originally as Zuambeze Safaris)? I am particuarly interested in Buffalo and Sable. Looking for a spot in 2013.

Thanks

Is this the proper spelling?
Do you have a web page or other contact info?

The correct name is LUAMBEZE SAFARIS (luambeze.com) Jamie Wilson, PH. I was looking at some poor handwriting, mine. My son and I met Jamie at SCI this year.

Nice website.
First suggestion: Get some pictures of current trophies and current references.
The gallery has a selection of amazing animals, but when were they hunted?

Top grade PH, area and outfit.

hi jamie hows things, you going to reno ?

Howzit (sorry whom am I writing to - not yet got the hang of this site!) - no probably not going to Reno - first time in a long time however I am mostly booked up for 2013 and lost my booth (did not donate a big enough hunt therefore not enough points to maintain position at the Reno show from the Vegas show!).

Funds are tight now and things so expensive!

Thank you all - only saw this now (?) I was registered but the site seemed to have lost all knowledge about me - have registerted again now - Jamie Wilson Mozambique Big Game Hunting Safaris with Jamie Wilson jamie@luambeze.com or lugenda@hotmail.com as some spam engines filter out my domain name

Welcome back Jamie! Be sure to put your website in your signature box so we can check out your site each time you post you may have a hunt we can't live without.

Fixed.

My wife and I will be hunting with Jamie from August 8-25 and will let you all know how it goes.

I wish you good hunting and safe travels. I look forward to hearing about your trip.

Just getting back from Niassa Reserve with Jamie. Had a fun trip. Jamie is a very knowledgeable PH and Eveline is fun to talk with at camp.
Got my leopard in the daylight! It was 4:55pm and had other leopards on other baits with daylight pictures on the cameras also.
Very lucky to get a large Niassa Wildebeest the first day. These are only found in the Niassa and are a species of opportunity. Also took a great Buffalo, a large Lichtenstien Hartebeest, a decent Reedbuck, and a Yellow Baboon. Should have got a big Sable but my bullet found a tree branch instead and he was wounded/lost. He was still with the herd with little blood. OUCH!
Could have shot Boehms Zebra but turned them away as we were hot after Sable each time.
If you want a nice leopard or lion, Jamie has high cat populations. Lots of sightings and tracks of cats.
Also lots of elephant including some 70-100 pounders but not importable to the USA yet. Such a shame - many elephant in Jamie's area.
Great aircraft and great meals. Other equipment was good to average but Jamie is upgrading it. Camps are very remote - 250 miles from Pemba. Only a few roads and fewer people and poachers than the Save where I hunted in Zim. No high or low fences here. Remote wilderness hunting. Loved it.

scott great to hear you had a memorable hunt with jamie, i was just texting him on skype and told him you had put a good report on here, and he was very impressed at how quickly you had put it on here, as he said he had just flown you out and returned with his next clients.
