There was the unfortunate accident this spring with Christie De Sousa, the owner and PH of Christie's Adventures based in Namibia.
Just wondering if anyone knows the status of this outfitter, are they still operating?
I have a deposit with this outfitter for a hunt for 2015 and am trying to finalize some details and have not been able to get hold of the person in charge with emails or via phone for the last month.
Also interested if anyone did a hunt with this outfitter for 2014 and any feedback.
Any info would be appreciated.

I'm going to try and send you a link in a PM.....

Namibia is a BIG COUNTRY with a few people BUT in Namibia we are all like one big family. The accident of Christie was very bad for all of us. His wife Madelein is still on the farm. I can provide you with her telephone number if you inbox me.

We were treated like family in Namibia by everyone, especially by Christie and he's outfit. Huntin Africa, do you know if young Lourens is still with the outfit? thanks

Thanks to all for the information. I was finally able to get hold of Madelein and everything has worked out, will get to do my first trip to Africa and experience Namibia this October.

Justhunt ... do you know what is Lourens Family Name?

Grobler, thanks Huntin Africa

gpelkhunter you will love Namibia. It is my favorite place in the world outside of Texas! The people are wonderful and the landscapes are amazing. I hope you will feel as at home there as I do. I am headed there in September and can hardly wait.
Regards,
Philip
