Welcome welcome welcome
Maybe not surprisingly, I've already had an unintentional night time mountain lion 'hunt' (e.g., self defense) situation in one of the canyons north of Morenci. Glad I pack my 1911 for that trip! It ran off so I tipped a horseback mountain lion hunting outfit that I met about thirty minutes later. Good size blood spatter given the size of the animal but was never found. The guide told me the dogs won't bay for a dead lion which I thought was too bad.@Foxfyre welcome! You are about 2-3 hours drive away from some incredible mountain lion hunting. Several AH members have hunted with Logan Adams and Seven Anchor Outfitters. I did a hunt with them about two months ago and it was one of the most fun and interesting hunt I’ve ever done.
Thank you! I missed out on a competing bid for a new in box Portuguese-made Winchester 70 Safari Express in 375HH while traveling. I kicked myself for that one but on second glance the bidding war went much higher than msrp: a year or two ago these were going for 1500-1900 rather than the 2500 the rifle ultimately went for. Maybe I'll just wait for the next production run or see about getting a cz550 customized with a 3 position safety added on.Greetings Foxfyre,
Khomas Highland Hunting and Fishing Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.
When you can spare a minute, I invite you to have a look into the Khomas Safaris website.
As for an African rifle, sooner or later you will want a .375 so, may as well start looking now.

is my favorite on line store for such things.
