Geno, welcome to the AH forum! I have shot a couple of jackals that sadly got away into the thick bushveld. Jackal are my nemesis! I love calling in predators since I called in my first gray fox at 6 years old.
Do you use an electronic call? What sounds do you use?

Yes I use Foxpro electronic callers. Sounds vary throughout the year, but mostly jackal vocals and after that prey distresses and fights if the jackal respond to the calls.
This was 22 jackal and 2 bushpigs I killed on one stand in little over 2 hours.
