New Member Looking For A Left Action .458

Great to be a part of this community
Im a young guide and professional hunter fed up with always using company rifles so i am on the lookout for a .458 winmag or lott bolt action rifle to buy - in a LEFT action - to buy in South Africa - I know they are rare but please spread the word!

As a fellow lefty I understand how hard it can be! When you do find one though don't over pay. They aren't easy to find, but they aren't easy to sell either, especially the big bores.

What is your budget? Sabi rifles can build one for about 40k. I am yet to find a left handed rifle bigger than 416 Ruger.

Jip I spoke to SABI and have a quote all set - looking around a bit now I know what they ask
A 416 ruger is definetly also an option if you know of one !

I checked all the current listings and found very few rifles above 375, and no LH rifles at all.

Zastava Arms in Serbia makes left handed Mauser rifles in 458 Win Mag. You might look around and see if you can find an importer for them there in the RSA. The only problem is that the barrel is only .660" in diameter and they are very muzzle light which makes the recoil pretty vicious. I have one and re-barreled it with a heavier barrel (.750) and she's a sweetheart now.
