New to Africa Hunting forums. Love to hunt Africa. Been 15 times and heading back in August to chase buffalo (or be chased!). Big fan of all things Africa. Shoot Blaser R8 and model 70's but the Blaser is rapidly becoming my favorite. Love the .375 HH and the .300 WM (or HH) for most of my needs. Shoot a very nice .280 Rem as well on North American animals. Live in Texas - a free red state and love it. Will try to add to the forum and what people see here.

Welcome to AH! Looking forward to hearing about your past adventures in Africa :) with 15 notches on your belt, I’m sure you will have a wealth of knowledge to share :)

Well, Sir, one of the main reasons I subscribed, is to learn from more experienced hunters - so let me welcome you! Can't wait to listen some of your adventures.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
