I'm sure it does. Classic 2.75" Rottweil Brenneke's certainly let you know they have gone off in my Supernova.@Scrumbag
I have a Bushnell trs25 2moa red dot on my mosberg 12 gauge bolt gun. Works a treat.
Try some Sellior and Bellot 12 gauge 3 inch magnum slugs mate. They get your attention in a less than 7 pound gun

No, target shotgun games, driven boar. Maybe pigeon shooting. Fun idea though
Yes.Section 1...?
I see, those thick skinned pigeon do need semi auto slug fire.
I suppose the tracking will be easy afterwards?
It’ll look like a magic trick: bang, poof, where did the pigeon go

To be section 5 it would need to have a barrel less than 24" and an overall length of 40". (That works for a semi auto or pump action - that's from memory so please don't take it as gospel). What would cause it to graduate to section 5?

Ironically things like double barrels and lever action shotguns don't have the same stipulations. So you can have a short barrelled and pistol gripped lever action shotgun or a short and pokey 20" barrelled side by side for your cowboy action crowd. (Don't ask me why the difference).
