I have been hunting for the past 3 years or so with either the farm owners rifle or friends of mine.
I have now taken the big step and purchased myself a Musgrave 30-06 K98 action.
Is there anyone that can help me with a motivation in order to satisfy the SAPS.
I have a comp certificate for a handgun and realize that I need to apply for a comp cert for a rifle.
Looking forward to getting expert advice on your site regarding various issues.

My apologies I am from sunny South Africa

Welcome to AH.

Here is a list of local associations that can tell you about the courses for Dedicated hunter status, etc and other motivations that may be regarded as appropriate by the licensing branch of SAPS.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
