Next shield project started

This one is being made of red mahogany and is 6ft tall and 21" wide. Looking forward to getting this one in clear coat soon. Not sure what base I will do yet but will know once I see the color this one ends up.

Very nice and I think you should bring the finished product to Kansas City for the Hunters Expo. Of course I would be very willing to display it properly!

Ok shield stained and cleared with natural mahogany base. So shield is stained red mahogany to look more like the mahogany wood that comes from Africa. The base is 1 1/4" thick Brazilian mahogany with just 4 coats of clear. The small pictures shows the graining f the wood. Need to make spears yet but this shield will be for sale as soon as I get spears done. Will be 475 plus shipping if anyone would like it.
