Good Day AH Members,

A lot of hunters don't get to experience the night side of hunting in Africa, specifically for little night critters! It's a completely different world when the sun goes down and all the shy night animals start to move around.
This hunt is ideal for a collector, but also for the hunter looking to experience something different of Africa.

Due to limited Permits each year, I only have one(1) of these deals available and on offer for 2025 so don't miss out!

We'll mostly be hunting my main area of 12 500 Acres in the Limpopo Valley but also a couple other ranches on the Soutpansberg Mountain. Hunting other ranches increase your chance of success on a hunt like this!

Although this hunt focuses on Night Critters, other game can be added on to hunt during the day.

  • 10 Days / 11 Nights for 1 Hunter x 1 PH
  • 1x Genet

There's my dam nemesis, that honey badger. Two separate try's, two country's and still do not have one, my fault, missed an unexpected opportunity on last hunt. Love these hunts, so much fun, cant redo yet but will. Hope someone grabs this fast.

These hunts are a LOT of fun. You get to chase some PG or DG during the day...have a great lunch and maybe do some fishing around the crocs...then get ready for the night hunt. There are so many night species on these ranches that Dieter has access to. Just in the past 2 seasons, here are a few of what we have taken together at night...and my goodness, you should see the quality of bushbucks that come out at night!!!

Dieter's awesome tracker Vusi with our HB...that was a lot of fun.

Cool genet...there are loads of them there. Also mongooses but those dudes are streaks of lightning and you better get on them fast!

Dieter mentioned bush pigs and there are some great ones there...

I agree with your assessment, these are some of my favourite hunts, sure beats sleep. I have also learned that to be successful you need an outfitter that knows their stuff, from good working baits and areas, knowledge of species, good equipment, light's and blind chairs that are absolutely quiet plus a PH that can sit perfectly still with no rustling cloths on.

Couple real nice specimens there, two monster tiny 10's and a large spotted. Did you see the small spotted genet, would like one of them also. Make a nice mount as a pr. You had to rub salt in with that beautiful HB.

I have not had a chance at a small spotted yet but in Dieter's home there is a pair of small and large spotted on a mount that looks great. Dieter really goes the extra mile to get his clients a chance at everything on their list and he sometimes gets more excited than the hunter. We were driving to the red duiker spot in daylight and a caracal crossed the road in front of us. We about hit the ditch in amazement.

I turned down a small spotted at 40 yds in a tree because, PH stated "don't shoot that one we will have many opportunities for them on my property on the next part of the hunt". Full TF would be his on his property was my guess as reason?? When there we saw one genet for a second at 200 yds, then 6 nights of none. There is a saying I should have listened to.

I do add a night hunt on every safari, @MATTANJA HUNTING SAFARIS will be added to the spreadsheet of short listed outfits.

Sorry to hear that. Most PHs would never say that unless it wasn't big enough. Funny thing about Dieter is that if he likes something he will be doing the opposite of that guy and will be saying shoot, shoot.
