Norma BONDSTRIKE

Will these be released as components as well?
 
I'll add a request for 7mm Bondstrike for the popular 7mm calibers: 7X64mm, 7X65R, 7mm-08, 7X57mm, 7X57R, 7mm Remington Magnum, .280 Remington, at least as component bullets. Your latest catalog shows the 7mm Oryx projectile dropped as an option for 7mm-08 as one example, leaving the 160 grain Tipstrike only, which we all recognize is not a bonded projectile design.

Federal can hardly keep 7mm Edge TLR projectiles in stock at retailers, selling out quickly whenever a new batch is delivered. This is only available in 155 grains in 7mm thus far from Federal. If you offered a 7mm Bondstrike in 140, 156, and 170 grains RUAG could capture some of the hungry market for 7mm high ballistic coefficient bonded rifle projectiles with a wide velocity performance window.
 
Is Norma going to make the Bondstrike available for reloading?
 
7mm - around 160gr and 9.3mm somewhere between 235gr and 250gr

Now that Norma has released factory 6.5 Creedmoor with a Bondstrike projectile, what's the timeline for 7mm Bondstrike, as mentioned above by Hearties, fir 7X57mm, 7X64mm, 7mm-08, 7mm Remington Magnum, and .280 Remington, plus as a component bullet for reloading? Norma offers far more 7mm factory ammunition cartridges than 6.5mm.
 
Let’s give the 300 Win Mag an introduction!

Introduced as late as 1963 this cartridge was soon to become the most popular in the line of .300 magnums. Unlike the predecessors .458, .264 and .338 Winchester Magnums it has a longer case and a rather short neck (.264”) in order to increase the case capacity.

As a rule of thumb the neck of a cartridge should be equal to the caliber or preferably a little longer, but experience has shown that the .300 Win. Mag. has not really suffered in this respect. It can still be used in a standard-length bolt action but this means that the heavier bullets must be seated rather deep and hereby occupy some of the powder space.

Like the other .300 magnums it is at its best for hunting larger species like moose or elk at long range. The recoil is heavy, but most shooters will be able to handle it after some practice and handloads with lighter bullets are a good choice for this purpose.
