NORMA TipStrike 170gr

A month or so ago NORMA launched their new Tipstrike ammo here in Europe. I have been looking for a new bullet to use with the Tikka for a while and decided to try them out. Here are a few results. NORMA gives a speed of 800 meters per second and I achieved a avarage for a 7 shot string at 799 meters per second from my suppressed 20" Tikka. Accuracy is way below MOA if I do my part. As for performance on game,I have now taken 2 Wild Boar at ranges from 50 to 120 meters,neither of them took a step after the shot. I have not recovered a bullet yet.

I hadn't heard of this round. When I looked it up it reminded me of a hornady interlock bullet. Looks like they have built a nice cartridge. Thanks for posting.
