Happy Thanksgiving to stateside folks and thanks to all the hard-working hunting teams who have helped us be successful. These are the originals that Sako produced. They are for 1" tubes. Low. They still have the sticky protective coating on them. Purchased new from The Custom Shop for $225. Selling them here with shipping at $140 shipped. Thank you!

Perfect for a vintage Sako

Precisely. After selling a vintage Sako Mannlicher in .308 and then trying desperately to buy another one, I finally gave up. The scope mounts were bought for that project.

I have a set on my 80 's Sako Mannlicher, or I would be all over them.

They look very good on the old little Riihimaki .222’s as well

SOLD
Thank you

Those are sweet. Thanks for sharing. I am always drawn to the Mannlichers but also liked all the regular-stocked rifles. Sako always managed to get the lines and proportions right in their designs. And it's nice to see scopes mounted low like you have them. I never was a fan of big objectives.

Thx Mark. Top 2 are 1 3/4 x 6 power (long tube on 338 WM & short tube on 243 Win). Bottom is 2x7 compact on a 30-06. I've taken, deer, pigs and coyotes with those rifles over the years. All are tack drivers. Whatever I load for them, they just simply shoot.

Ouch.

Call me pedantic, but there is more to being a 'Mannlicher' than merely a stutzen stock.

I know it has become all too common to refer to any full stocked rifle or carbine as 'Mannlicher', but to do so is highly inaccurate.

Not all full stocked rifles / carbines were / are Mannlichers, not all Mannlichers were full stocked. Also, the lines and feel / function of a Mannlicher Schoenauer stutzen are more svelte and refined than that of most other full stocked arms.

Saw a good looking knife you posted a pic of with the watermelon. Can I ask the make? Looks like you hunted with Guav Johnson? We overlapped in the Save once. Would like to hunt with him one day..
