The trip was the shortest I have ever taken to get there. The local grocery.
Last week Namibia today South Africa.
Anything to get back for a minute or two.

Produce is what I do for a living.
Here in Colorado we get a lot of our summer citrus from south Africa.
That's the only thing I've seen here though. Grapes generally come from Chili this time of year.

I bought a bag of charcoal the other day that’s made in Namibia. They’re removing invasive Acacia and making charcoal for export. Good thing for Namibia in getting rid of an invasive plant and making some money while they’re at it.

Yea when I was in Namibia I saw how they make the charcoal.

Creative use of resources.

One farm I hunted had the farm workers collecting dead wood from around the farm and then using a rather large deadly looking table saw (not OHS approved) to chop it all into two foot lengths and bag it for firewood to sell to tourists. They have now found a way to export that same wood apparently. (y)

What does meat taste like on Acacia charcoal?

Similar for me last year. Big saw running cutting up downed trees for horse / animal bedding.
