Quieting a recurve

This a string I ordered from Black Widow. I had them add the yarn wraps at the string ends. That combined with the fuzzy velcro made a HUGE difference in how this bow sounds. Now it is just produces a dull thump.

Interesting. Just bought my first recurve and starting to shoot. I haven't listened that closely as I'm concentrating to hard on hitting the target. Lol [emoji23]
