This past weekend at a charity event my wife got a-little excited and purchased a scope in the live auction. The scope was a Rudolph Optic V1 2.5-15x50 IR. Just so happens I won a Rem 700 5R in 300win mag in the raffle that night. I have found out some about the company but not the amount of information I would like. Given they are a South African company I figured they his might be a good place to find out about the optics.

Glass seems decent in what little I have messed with it so trying to decide if it’s worth mounting on the new rifle or if I should go a different direction

Rudolf have been around a while and offer good glass at a moderate price. They rebrand scopes from Japan made in the same factory as some higher priced scopes. I have bought one new and got two more with guns that I bought. I still use them .

Good luck if you have a issue with the scope. They have been ignoring my attempts to contact them since March. I have called and left messages, emailed, sent messages from their website and even tried Facebook messages. I was considering carrying their optics. I'm way over that now, I'm just looking for the status of a order I placed 4 months ago, or a refund if its not coming.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
