Savage 99F In 308 Winchester For Sale

This is a pretty clean Savage 99F. Brass rotary magazine. Crack in the stock at the tang (just like all 99s I’ve ever seen.) It appears that either a recoil pad was removed, or the stock was shortened at one time. I have a 1” Limbsaver on it to bring it back to typical factory 13 1/2” pull. I’ve only fired factory ammo in it. Most were 3 shots in 1 1/2-1 3/4”. I thought that was really good! Never got a chance to work up loads.

As the owner of a 99 in .308, here's hoping it finds a good home. I also own an older one in. 300 Savage. One or the other will go to Africa with me next time. Want to up your cool factor? Hunt with a 99.
