Thinking about driving to Nashville for the show. I am not interested in staying in any of the downtown hotels and do not mind driving in from a few miles out. Any ideas? Thanks

Check out some of the nearby state parks as several of them offer cabins.

I stayed in the Vanderbilt area last year. It was much cheaper than downtown and only a mile away.

We got a VRBO and it was great. Although had to climb stairs to the second floor. Took several trips for me to haul Gina's shoes up;)

Ended up being a couple blocks from the AH Dinner venue!

I stayed outside on the northeast side around Hendersonville, using Hilton Honor points, under 30 minutes out. I only attended Saturday. Used Hilton Honor points as I'm sometimes a cheapskate.

It is true. I cannot stop laughing. I said he didn’t have to bring them all upstairs. I needed a specific pair and next thing you know, they are all upstairs.

No fanciness on my end, I travel for work and build Hilton points so the wife and I were in a Hampton inn for our 3 nights we were in town. Out by the airport if I remember correctly, it was an easy drive into downtown for the show.

Babydoll you described which pair you wanted. I only carried up the ones that fit that description;)

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
