Previously ZPHGA, PHASA, SCI, ECGMA - all now lapsed since I'm no longer active in the industry but still support it fully.

Given the extremely close proximity of our excellent Indian Ocean surf and offshore boat fishing we are in the process of linking a shark fishing experience to some of our established SA Eastern Cape hunting packages. These options will probably involve a choice between boat and surf angling for a variety of legal shark species. All of our shark fishing will be done on a catch - photograph, and then release basis. The most commonly caught shark from our neighboring beaches is the Ragged Tooth Shark (Odontaspis taurus) in South Africa commonly called a "Raggie" but also known as a Sand Tiger and in the US as a Grey Nurse Shark. The current South African record for the Ragged Tooth shark caught from the beach in Natal during January 2010, is 743.6lbs (338kg). All clientele wanting to experience the excitement of shark angling will be accompanied by an experienced and recognised locally based shark fishing guide.

We would be interested to hear this is offered in conjunction with a hunting safari if it would appeal to clients. Feel free to e-mail us for further information.

Regards,
Kevin Thomas Safaris

I can't speak for others but as for myself I love the opportunity to mix a hunting trip with a fishing trip. It is also a way to experience more of what an area has to offer. It sounds like a good idea to me.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
