I just received my trophies from my hunt with Nkwe Safaris in May of 23 and 24. Debbie who is the owner of Mochaba Development is your only dip/pack and shipping option. The cost for all Documents, Dip/Pack, and then shipped to Gaborone where all shipping is now being done with Ethiopian Airlines and shipped to Kennedy or Atlanta will set you back 3k for 6 kudu,1 each of Impala,Waterbuck,Eland and Gemsbok. All Inclusive.
I chose Atlanta and Coppersmith to clear them because that have a USDA storage place so their bill to clear them came to $1350 which included about $350 in storage costs which is cheap.
Because Emirates does not service SFO the crate had to be cleared in Atlanta and then shipped to my residence in California for$800 bucks.
So 5k to get them home. Mochaba and Debbie are great on communicating and a pleasure to work with. The quality of the dip and pack is average at best (whiteness etc). Horns very dry. Skulls discolored and not the white you would expect but they did cover the the tips with garden hose pieces. Most important all trophies correctly and individually packaged individually bagged in a cardboard crate placed on a pallet.
Coppersmith is top notch and I would use them again.
In conclusion, if you hunt In Botswana and Debbie continues with Ethiopian Air, which I assume is their new way and no longer shipping trophies to Jo’berg you are going to have a ground shipping charges if Ethiopian Air does not service your nearest International airport.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
