LEICA GEOVID HD-B 3000 / HD-R 2700
Leica Sport Optics is unveiling the latest version of its bestselling laser rangefinding binoculars – Geovid HD-B 3000 / HD-R 2700
These new models can now range up to an astonishing 3,000 yards / 2,750 meters, making them the best in its class. With a wide field of view, edge-to-edge sharpness and an LED display that adjusts itself automatically to ambient light conditions, Geovid rangefinders perform equally well whether scanning broad terrain or determining the precise distance to a target. What’s more, their classic ergonomic design ensures good grip and fatigue-free viewing all day long, while their uncompromisingly robust construction gives you invaluable peace of mind in the field.
The Geovid 3000-B binoculars also boast the renowned ballistics system ABC® (Advanced Ballistic Compensation). Thanks to an integrated microSD memory card, users can upload their ballistic data to the binoculars. The high-precision ballistics program enables the precise determination of the point-of-aim correction and displays user-specific results within fractions of a second. When matched to their own personal hunting equipment, users have a choice of three different ballistic applications and can output results in the format relevant to their needs. Temperature, barometric pressure and angle of declination parameters are factored into the calculation for all computing options. The data is shown on the integrated LED display, which automatically adjusts to ambient lighting conditions.
The Geovid HD-B 3000 and HD-R 2700 models also boast a new integrated LED screen, which features a fast scan mode that records the environment and targets every 0.5 seconds. Up to a measuring distance of 200 yards/200 meters the binoculars provide values in decimal calculation which is a useful feature especially for bow hunting. They determine all important parameters with exceptional precision in only 0.3 seconds.
The Geovid 3000 calculates the equivalent horizontal range (EHR) for angled shots up to 2,000 yards / 1,875 meters. It is available in either yard or meter version.
