Last summer I took my son to hunt pigs in OK. He has always wanted to hunt them since he was a baby... he is 12 now. He took a nice boar and the meat isn't bad at all. The taxidermist called the other day to let me know his European was ready to be picked up. Also that it had been shot in the face with a shotgun. Now we have an interesting conversation piece let alone a nice trophy. There is one pellet to the right of the left eye, 2 in the nostril and the one on top of the nose. The hole in the top of the nose above the pellet is damage from the shot also. Maybe he was raiding a crop and a farmer took a shot or someone came across him and took a shot? Who knows, but this kid is off to a good hunting career. He recovered the bullet from his first big game animal and someone else's shot from his second. Animals are tough and I, as well as my son have immense respect for them.
