Dick and Andrew hunted 2 x 1 for 7 days with PH Clive Curtis. This was their first trip to Africa and they experienced more than they had expected in terms of hunting and the great sightings of wildlife they enjoyed daily! They bagged some great animals and Dick's walking challenges were countered by exceptional shooting.
They both took exceptional Gemsbok, kudu, wildebeest, hartebeest and more. They used 300 win mags with barnes tsx ammo which worked like a charm! They will be back for buffalo in 2019! My wife and I enjoyed spending a few days in camp with Andrew and Dick.
We have an AH member and his wife on safari with us right now, hope to post some pics of their safari at some stage.
Some of you may find it interesting that the kudu pictured below (with 1 broken and slightly re-grown tip) measured the same on both horns. I was there and never expected this myself even though the view down the "pipe" clearly showed that the broken horn was deeper, and in the pic if you look closely, the broken horns curls are deeper than the perfect horn. Its all in the curl!
Happy hunting to you all!
