Last July I took my first trip to africa where I hunted the limpopo with Doornrand Hunting safaris. Accommodations are A+ trophy and animal quality are A+ and PH was on point! Total I was in country 11 days and hunted 10 full days. All total I took a warthog, Waterbuck 30 inch, 2 impala each over 23 inches, nyala 28 inches, eland 35 inch, steinbuck 3 1/2 inch, porcupine, and gemsbok bull 36 inch.
I haven't mentioned weather, and it was unseasonably chilly during my trip, low 20s at night and warmed up to low 70s during the day. Made night hunting a challenge but we still managed. My favorite animals were the eland, this guy waited until right before dark to show up and presented no shot for about an hour before turning at 40 yards broadside nearly pitch black. Of course impala were a blast, both were taken under 30 yards and finally the steinbuck! I night hunted for him and took him with my bow at 25 yards! Much more difficult than I could have imagined. I can't wait to get back! The folks a Doornrand were very respectable and everyone was so helpful I really with them the best!
