My family and I just returned from 9 wonderful days in South Africa with Pieter, friends, and family of Paw Print Safaris. My wife and i have been married over 15 years and had never had a honeymoon or a even a proper vacation so you can imagine how important this trip was to us! It would take several pages to explain all the ways Pieter took it upon himself to make this trip a reality even with my financial constraints.
My two sons (12 and 14) were able to take two nice Kudu, two Impala, a blesbok, a red hartebeest, and an exceptional warthog and blue wildebeest. I truly feel like Pieter went out of his way to make sure that my boys and wife were always entertained and having fun. The food and company were first class! I myself had never been to Africa either but had dreamt of it since childhood. It was incredible to finally see how the hunting industry works in Africa and to see the animals I had longed to hunt since I was a boy. I just really cant imagine being treated any better than we were on this trip.
I was an avid wing shooter here in the southern US when we still had a good population of wild quail and pheasant and I can tell you that I have NEVER seen the abundance of wild game birds that I did while in SA. If any of you would like a wing shooting adventure I would think that Paw Print would be a prime candidate to provide you with the bird hunt of a lifetime.
I am already planning to go back to SA next year to hunt buffalo cow, birds, and do some fishing. You can bet your last dollar that I have no intention of using any other PH than Pieter Erasmus!!!
If any of you are considering hunting Africa with Paw Print or your undecided on your Outfitter, please feel free to PM me.
