I was wandering if any one has used this outfit before? I'm loosely planning my hunt and his prices are good and he is really prompt responding to my inquires. This will be my first big big hunting trip so I would like to get it right the first time. I have saved for over 5 years dreaming of the day I get to take my son on this adventure.

Have you tried the search function? I think Henry is a well respected AH sponsor and there is likely a few hunt reports.

Most unhappy people won't post publicly about a bad experience. But if they see someone asking would be more inclined to send a message seeing a post asking. Have you hunted with him?

I haven't hunted with him, but I have met him before. Seems like a good guy. The PH I was hunting with at the time was hunting the same area, and we had lunch with him a few times. That's all the details I can offer.

Not necessarily true of this forum. Most hunters will post a report from their hunts. So, do a search and contact several those who have written reports. Also, I believe he will be at DSC and SCI this year. Go meet him.

I am interested in Roan so I will visit with him at DSC.

Henry is a really good guy. I know the outfitter he hunted for years ago, and know many local South Africans that have hunted with him with great success. He is a hard working PH, honest outfitter, and you should have a great time hunting with him.
