Hello,
Sorry for grouping all of the safari operators in one post, but I thought it would be better than doing individual posts asking for information about each one.
For background: I am planning on taking my wife and two of my sons on a safari in South Africa next year. I have been twice and absolutely loved it. I want to share the experiences with them. I am 57 and my sons are 30 and 24. They don't have the bug like their father and have only been hunting a couple times. When we hunt on the safari, it will be 2x1, but in reality it will be 4x1. We just want to be together and enjoy each other's company and successes. My wife is going to ride with us a bit, take pictures, sit in the lodge, paint, read, relax, and do some shopping. This will be her first time in Africa as well as for one of the boys.
I went to the Harrisburg show the other week and talked to a lot of outfitters/professional hunters. There were three that I liked for different reasons, but about equally. (In alphabetical order)
Kirabo Safaris with Jaco Wentzel
Molopo Kalahari Safaris with Rudolph Graupner
Ultimate Hunting Safaris with Wesley van der Veen
Have any of you hunted with them or know them? If so, could you share your experiences?
Once I narrow down my choices I will be contacting their references, doing due diligence, etc, but references tend to be chosen for their positive attitude.
Thanks for your help!
