SOUTH AFRICA: Hunt For Rarer Eastern Cape Species With Karoo Wild Safaris

I wanted to share some pics of our last trophy hunt of the 2017 season.

Paul from the UK joined us for a 10 day hunt for some lesser hunted species and some plains game not taken on previous trips. He's hunted multiple times in Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia and Kenya (pre ban) and we were happy to welcome him to the Eastern Cape. Paul's hunting ethic is to hunt wherever possible hunt old, solitary male animals regardless of horn length. We were able to do this with the waterbuck and blue wildebeest who were way past their prime. Paul took some great trophies with the mountain reedbuck being a truly exceptional trophy.

I notice it has warmed up a bit. Those open hills look like they could be too cold for a north Queenslander.
