Kacee and I are hunting in the Eastern Cape with Allan Schenk Safari. Going to try to keep up as we go. First I will say this is truly free range hunting and a true hunt. The views are incredible in the mountains. Kacee was on one of most awesome stalks on her lechwe today. This is hard hunting in the mountains of eastern cape. Kacee has harvested lechwe, springbok, and mountain rhebuck all trophy quality animals. Richard Leonard is here videoing the hunts. We feel as Allan is also part of our family already. The food has been fantastic daily. We have had beautiful dinners, small breakfast and chosen to eat lunch in the field to not waste time going back to the lodge. The weather has been great, windy at times. This is truly quality hunt. If looking for safari hunting from the truck then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a true quality hunt with solid guy, this is the real deal. The skinners are taking excellent care of the capes as that is truly important part of the hunt. The lodge is fantastic with beautiful fire pit area. Alan has outdone himself with his all around quality. I will continue this post as the days go by.
