Hunting reports

I just returned from a 7 day hunt with WWB Safari's. It was an amazing experience and more than I could have expected. This was my first time hunting in Africa and every aspect was beyond my expectations. I took a Blesbuck, Gemsbuck, Impala and Warthog. I can't wait to return and hunt with this outfit again. Logistics were laid out in detail prior to trip by WWB which made it very easy. All of my many questions were responded to quickly before leaving. Lodging, food and daily laundry/cleaning was more than I could have hoped for. I brought four sets of clothes and that was two more than needed. I was part of a group of four that went from the states. We hunted in pairs assigned to a PH and tracker. Our PH, Whitey, was one of the most interesting people I have every talked to. His professionalism was top notch. Whitey and our tracker/skinner, Daniel, put us on our animals very quickly and did not pressure us to shoot if not 100% comfortable with the shot or specific animal we were taking. It was a relaxing, yet efficient hunt. Had I wanted to (afforded to), I could have taken many many more species. I learned a lot from Whitey, and to say he went above and beyond in all aspects in an understatement. In addition to professional hunter and outdoorsman, he should include professional photographer to his resume in my opinion. We took over 500 high quality pictures and a significant portion was his doing. I will look back at them for the rest of my life and appreciate how he and WWB captured this experience. I highly recommend this outfit and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Glad you had a great trip, Tony and the bunch are great folks! How about sharing some of those pictures?
Cheers,
Cody

Congrats, seems like you had a great time, but...we need pics, lots of them !

working on it today. Having to upload SD cards on to a google drive so it can be shared easily. Will try and get them up in the next few days.

Congrats on the hunt! Look forward to more(y)

Good to hear that your first safari was a success, waiting on those pictures

Would love to see some of those pix-I think you should have shot a namesake wildebeest(y)

Thank you Scott - was a real pleasure having you all in camp! Hope to hunt with you all soon again!
Kind regards

First of all, WELCOME TO AH!
Congrats on your first safari. It sounds like you had a great time.
Please add some pics of your trophies and camp. What guns and bullets did you use?
Have you begun to plan safari number two? What country? What critters?

Nice impala!!!

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John buzzardhilllabs@hotmail.com
NRA benefactor, areas hunted, add congo, Mozambique3, Zambia2
Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
