Special On Buffalo Hunt

I am offering a buffalo hunt option for 2016 or 2017.
This is a true buffalo hunt on foot in excellent buffalo territory.
In 2015 I hunted a 45 inch bull with one lucky hunter in this area as well as a number of bulls in the 39 to 42 inch class. Another stand out trophy was 42 inches with 17 inch bosses. Needless to say, we have great quality here and if you are able to hunt hard with me, you stand a chance of getting a great trophy.

The offer:
Daily rates: $ 300 per day for a 1 on 1 or a 2 on 1 hunt.
Maximum amount of buffalo hunters at the same time is 2.
I would suggest a 7 day minimum.
Trophy fee - $ 9 990
You are not limited by size and can shoot the biggest bull we can find.
I will personally guide this hunt or hunt's to make sure that we offer the best hunt possible.
This is not a package deal, so you are not pressured to shoot the first animals we see. We will hunt the buffalo of your dreams.

Pick up and drop off is in Johannesburg.
The hunting area is 2 and a half hours North west of Johannesburg, in the Waterberg mountains.

Included:
- All accommodations in a fully catered permanent lodge with all meals and drinks during the hunt, Me as your professional hunter, skinners, trackers, vehicle, field prep of your trophies and delivery to our taxidermist.
- Pick up and drop off at JNB airport.
- 1 Cape buffalo bull unlimited in size at the above mentioned trophy fee.

Excluded:
- Airfare to and from JNB
- Trophy fees of extra animals hunted
- Taxidermy/ Dipping and packing and shipping of trophies.
- Gratuities to staff
- Rifle rental and ammo.

The hunting area is in the bushveld, with large hills and thick mopanie - type bush.
We have to work hard to get the animals in this terrain and you should be able to walk long distances in a day if need be. With hard work in this area you will be rewarded with good quality.

Some of you experienced buff hunters jump in here. To me, that first photo is a monster compared to what we usually see on the forum. And just over 12K for the 7 days and the buff, seems like a great deal if you are looking for a trophy and not the typical (IMO) buffalo. Anxious to here what you experienced guys think!

Number one is solid but I really like number two. He is wide with good curl.
Yes the price on this hunt is good.

That first Buffalo was 42.5 inches. The second picture is 45 inches and the third picture was 39 inches. We liked him because of his nice drop down curls.

You can expect to walk roughly 5 to 10 miles in a day, depending on the situation. It might be a bit more, but I think 5 to 10 is a good average. We hunt on roughly 11 000 acres, in quite thick bush.

Some very nice buff there. What other critters are available in the area?

We have Eland, Waterbuck, Kudu, Blue wildebeest, Black wildebeest, Red hartebeest, Blesbuck, Impala, Steenbuck, Duiker, Bushbuck, Nyala, Warthog, Bushpig and samll cats. Also leopard, but no permits at this stage.

This last Buffalo was 43 inches wide with good boss. We walked a long long way to get him, but the clients did well and hung in there. If you work hard in the bush, you will be rewarded!!

Was this one hunted in the swamps. or were the bosses cleaned off. No mud or bark in the bosses and I only noticed because they were so black.

his was in the kalahari area. We walked roughly 23 miles that day to get him.. He was probably dehydrated too

Hi Mark. Yes, I have some available for 2017 still. I had Mr. Mike Carr with me lat month for a buff hunt he booked from this add on AH. He expressed his interest in booking another one for 2017, so this will mean that there would be 3 left for 2017.
