I plan to hunt Cape Buffalo next summer hopefully, my first. Has anyone hunted with Robin Hurt, Ltd and provide reviews or feedback?
Thanks
Kimbo

They have a good reputation. Bullet safaris here on AH also hunts there. Recently had a hunt report from someone that hunted with him. Might be worth considering.

A friend of mine hunted with Robin years ago and was quite happy with their hunt. Too long ago to bother with any more details.

Figured you would get more responses so I didn't reply earlier. I have never hunted with them, but Robin established a first rate company. Derek and his brother are running it now. I don't really know the brother but Derek is a great guy.

Thanks again. I was getting a little worried from the few responses I received.

I am sure Nathan with Bullet Safaris can answer all your questions. I just returned from a 10 day buffalo safari with Bullet Safaris in Tanzania and stayed in camp I believe was owned by Robin Hurt and leased by Bullet. Great camp and lots of game. Was able to take two very nice buff. Give Nathan a call, he's a straight shooter with no surprises.

I was in Robin's camp last year. Beautiful location, and extremely well done camp. Concession has lots of buffalo, sable and cats. The Hurt's have been in the business for decades and know which areas are most productive.

I think you could book with the Hurts and have the hunt of a lifetime.

You don't operate for the length of time they have and maintain their reputation without being a first rate outfit.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
