Here you go, Rob, practice this one...

The teacher asks the class to translate the following sentence into Afrikaans :

' Julius Malema is swimming in the Vaal River '

So, as always, little Johnny puts his hand up and says

' Daar is 'n drol in die drinkwater ' :biggrin2:

We need a translation, Doc.

Thanks, good one :clapping::clapping:

am I correct in assuming that Mr Malema and our Prez share the same popularity in some circles

I allready Know the joke I want to tell ,,I just need to have it spelled so I can try to pronouncing properly,,,Not to many people here in Minnesota I can go to unless I want to say it in Finlander

We have a joke here in the U.S. that could be adapted to RSA or any other country's politicians.
"A motorcade stops on a dusty road and a well dressed individual steps out with his bodyguards and walks over to a water hole and scoops up with his hand a drink of water. The farmer, in a foreign dialect, yells to him "Don't drink that water, the cows shit in it". The drinker responds " I do not speak that language, this is America. Speak in English or go back in your house". To which the farmer yells back in English "Use two hands, you'll get more".

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
