Here are some photos of the animals taken last year with Westfalen Safaris in Namibia, and taxidermied in Namibia. I did not take photos of these items, but I had the red Hartebeast hide tanned with hair on, turned out very nice, and I had the eland hide tanned into some nice rich reddish brown leather. Not sure what I'm doing with it, I'm thinking gun scabbards, my wife says chair!

Oh yeah. It wasn't that it took that long (15 months) but there was some "miscommunication" going on...

Congratulations! Looks great.

They look great! It's kind of like Christmas morning when you were a kid, when that box shows up.

Congrats! They look good, thanks for sharing!

Awesome trophies! And that Warthog is a brute! Can't wait until mine comes in. A year and half they say

The trophies look great! I would be happy if I were in your shoes.

It's always great to get the crate home. Enjoy the memories of your hunt.

Nice trophies!
I'm waiting for mine. Hope they will show upp in the spring!

Looks great. Making me want mine all the more. Still got 10 or 12 months to go.
Who did your work over there? Would you recommend them? It looks great but you mentioned some miscommunication? I'm looking at Namibia in 2019.

Very nice! Some beautiful animals, even though it is just a euro, that Eland looks massive! Always a great day when the crate comes.

Wow! Those all look very nice especially on the wood walls! Good job!

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
