Not much one can say about the magnificent weapon set of Bengt Berg and his wife Inger Illum.
I have some of his books and he write a good bit about his guns, not so much in detail ,more on use. So you will have to look at the barrel sets to note.

He used the 12 Paradox and .470 NE set on Tiger and much more.

This is perhaps one of the finest articles written of all times about guns there is.

Natacha Illum Berg is their grand daughter btw.

Thank you for posting, fantastic article, what a family & set of rifles they have there !

Eriksberg is today a blend of hotel and resort ,zoo park.restaurant , hunting also it is there. Fallow deer, Visent and several others is around both in the field and on the menu there also. Hunts on them are offered there ,bit costly but one fine european bison it is.

How I would love to hunt a Wisent Bull, 20yrs ago the price was good but I had no money then & not much now either but the price of Wisent bulls is crazy now days !

I see one of the Bergs shot a nice Bantang Bull !

Here is a film from Eriksberg when Bengt Berg lived there. Notife when he hunt a seal there using one of his sets,by the looks of it the 8x60S combo set

Childhood hero . It’s really intriguing why he chose to have them build him Boxlocks instead Sidelocks . It’s not like budget was a consideration for a sportsman of his means .

Yeah , that 12 Gauge Paradox / .470 Nitro Express combination would be a fine one for following up wounded Royal Bengal Tigers on foot . Kynoch 750 Gr conical hollow point Paradox bullet in the 12 Gauge barrel and Kynoch 500 Gr soft point in the rifle barrel .

They don’t make pieces of art like this anymore ...

Hello there. I’ve been wanting to introduce myself personally & chat with you about hunting Nilgai. Give me a call sometime…

Best,

+1 Great to deal with. I purchased custom rifle. No issues.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
