The Soul of the Hunter - Alfredo Pelizzoli - 1998. A first edition in dust jacket. Signed by the author, below 'Nairobi 2001'. The author was an Italian adventurer, an artist and a hunter. In 1955 he sold his business to drive around the world. He only got as far as Kenya, where he decided to stay, opening a magazine publishing business there. He then decided to become a professional hunter and started his own safari business, acting as an apprentice hunter with well-established hunters whom he hired. He took many European clients hunting for elephant, lion, bongo, buffalo and more, over a long period of time in Tanzania, Central African Republic, Sudan and Ethiopia. He went on to establish a luxury lodge in 1973. This book details the many hunting stories of Pelizzoli for a variety of big game species across Africa. An extremely fascinating read. DJ with some edge wear. A fine book in good DJ. The book is exactly as shown. Any questions, please ask. $250 + $10 Shipping

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
