I've had a few pairs of Russell boots, and while I think I look pretty jaunty with them on, I can say I've been impressed with the quality (or the fit - each pair has been fit by them, and has fit different - much differently).
I've tried other brands as well, and have found the Courtney's to be the best, but your foot has to be of the right 'type' for Courtney's.
With all of the types I've tried over the years, I've concluded that from now on, I'm going to go with New Balance hiking boots.
