I think I managed that with this Dingo, he got a .300 win mag,180 grain Woodleigh Hydro with the plastic point.

I would suggest that the 180 grain bullet would suffice. Nice dog!

See the results of a 500 grain bullet from a double at 26 m. On a medium sized hog!
Talk about use enough gun!!
See my article

Note in dog pic, yellow dam bank in background, here is the same dam but left side of the bank with the victim chosen on the left. He has/had forward facing hooks and is /was a prime example of a cull. I used 7mm RM

Yep you used enough gun!

Far more slippery ,well they 'have' to be,although the above Sako TRG-S is pretty well smooth with anything.

presumably they have a better measure in the drop compared to the standard hydro as they are obviously less drag types with that nice round nose. The only testing I have done is on game. I am not one for BR comparo`s doing it myself.

Its load and shoot here lol.

I agree! Same here, just bush work.

He’s a big and powerful looking dog, though. We have very few that look powerful (although their looks can be deceiving). Most of ours look skinny to poor.

Yes he is so and he has a bit of age about him,I first game cammed him several years ago and captured him a few more times. He would never step in a trap,I tried and got a few of his mates but he eluded me until the other morning. He has or had very distinctive white socking that enabled me to do a positive ID. Big strong mature scone on him,he had a lot of scars also, they are in the freezer with him lol.
He isn't so handsome now with the $120 bucks removed from his back.
