Well normal protocol for me is to do a thorough cleaning of my rifles prior to the beginning of our season here in Texas. Then a few shots to check zero and remove any residue. The weather was great yesterday so I had a friend come out to do a little shooting and I took the opportunity for my final check.

Two shots on the left are the first two shots out of Sandy's 7mm Remington Mag. at 100yds. Adjusted scope slightly right, last shot almost center, 1 1/4" high. Good to go!
160 grain Nosler Accubond, 59 grains IMR 4350, CCI 250 primers.

Next up was my .338 Win. Mag. Two shots 1" high, dead center. Good to go! 210 grain Barnes TSX, 69 grains IMR 4350, CCI 250 primers.

Point to all of this is I LOVE RELOADING!

I like the target, LOVE that you use a 338 for Texas! Keeps them from getting off into the thick stuff! Lol

LOL! My .338 is my buddy. I use it for EVERYTHING I legally can! My boys named him "AT&T" for the phrase, "reach out and touch someone"!

Your cutting meat for sure!

Looks like you still have four targets left- but sounds like you're done shooting- such the pity.

You took a hippo with that gun, so I'm sure it will handle a deer.

If Hillary gets in you will wish you had. I'm still working through stuff I bought when Obama first got in. Hording allowed me to keep shooting through the drought and it looks like things will be very bad for hunters and shooters for the next 4 years. Stock up

hope to hell if she gets in she wont last 4 years, maybe slick will do every body including him self a favor.with all the ammo ive stored i dont think ill live long enough to shoot it all.but ill die happy trying.if we get the f&w cleaned up and everything back the way it should be in africa as far as airlines back on line in regards to trophy shipping, and what we can hunt ,i might try and make one last trip to africa.

If the Demonrats get the Senate & the executive- which appoints the judicial life in the US as it was known when we were growing-up will cease to exist. My question is: Is there a country in Africa that anything near a free society where your everyday activities are not regulated by the government?

that is the nightmare scenario

HI all, here is a Short update on our America trip, I currently in Houston and have 2 more meetings here before movings North toward Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, and from there I will head to Colorado and Idaho,I have been met with great hospitality and friendship, and have met several new and old clients and we are going to book the rest of 2025 season quick and have several dates booked for 2026!
That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
