I’m am getting a new gun in a few days (Miller Citori 425). It comes with flush chokes. I prefer extended chokes. Titanium chokes would be about 1oz lighter for both barrels. That 1oz is right under the bead. Is the weight savings worth the extra cost?
Thanks in advance

I would be very impressed if anyone short of George Digweed would be able to tell a 1 oz difference of weight…even at the very end of the barrels.

If the titanium were necessary for a particular type of shot you were using, I’d say go for it. Otherwise, save your money.

2 oz total at the very end of the barrel may be noticeable but the difference would be slight. Seems like more of a personal preference than a need.

I would not worry as much about the weight. I would be far more concerned about shot pattern with the ammo you are using

I have notice that the Titanium seems to be much easier to clean than any stainless choke that I have owned.
