Next in our lamp line is the Gemsbok. This lamp has a African porcupine quill shade made by yours truly. Price with quill shade is $375. With Plain shade $225.

Love the lamp bud, How many extra holes in your hands did you acquire while making it

My hands are killing me. Those things are no joke.

Me love lamp..... need one for sure.

Nice job brother.

Very nice my friend. I would take the grass out myself maybe add some sand down around base for the desert kind of look that goes with a gemsebuck. You have been making some great stuff.

Cool idea and very nice work (y)
How'd you get the blood stains out after working with those damn quills? :D
Can't wait to see more of your creations.

is it top heavy?

I would guess you plug this into an outlet that is turned on/off from a wall switch?

Windex and bandaids.

It has a switch on the lamp just below the bulb.

I would not want to maneuver near those quills!

No sir not at all, the base is filled with sand so it is very solid.
Also the sand in the base cannot come out so it won't make a mess. You could hang it upside down and shake the fire out of it and it wouldn't loose a single grain of sand.

Lol it won't get you. The shade is plenty big enough for room to reach up in there. Also I can trim the quills from the bottom or even top if one likes to make double sure. I almost did that anyway but I liked the look of the exposed quills. That's the beauty of custom pieces they can be modified or made to order.

I also offer the same lamp with a plain tan shade like the ones in my original impala series. Of course the impala can be done with a quill shade as well.

Really cool!
So what is on the wall above the office space that looks like it's supporting a paper wasp nest? I can't blow the picture up enough to see that.

Looks good, but I would not have the quills going below the lamp shade. Forrest

not sure what your looking at, where and I can proally tell you what it is.

Above the wall with the pictures is a metal pole that goes to the rafters. What's on that pole?

Again, the lamp is awesome!!

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
