I just read on the TSA website that ammunition can be carried in the same locked case as the firearm for which the ammo is intended so long as the ammo is packed in approved boxes, cases, etc. Thought ammo had to be packed and shipped separately?

When traveling out of the US, they need to be separate.

That's been the standard for travel inside the US.

Thanks - missed that detail!

On our recent trip to SA my friend put his in a locked container and put the locked container in his checked luggage.

I packed my ammo in a Pelican Case and used TSA cable locks. Checked the ammo on as a separate bag with no problems in either direction.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
