While she is usually a bowhunter, the wife pulled out the old boomstick on opening weekend of the Kentucky firearms season, only to shoot this guy at 12 yards with her .260. I couldn't be happier for her. You've had a great year baby!

Nice deer. Congratulations.

That buck probably was dragging its head around with such large antlers weighing it down. Congrats!

Wow! That buck's got it all. Outstanding! Congrats to Holly (y)
12 yards, now that's kinda ironic isn't it? Way to stretch the legs on that .260 :D

Gorgeous buck, don't know what it scores and it shouldn't matter. That buck deserves a spot on a wall!

Great buck.

Congrats to your wife.

Very nice whitetail!!!

WOW!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Good job! Very pleased to see the ladies getting in on the action. Then she downs a bruiser on top of that!
Big congrats to you both.

What a beast of a buck! Very nice! Bragging rights for sure.

Just curious...were the pictures taken within hours of the deer dying, or were they taken the next day?

Hi Tim,
This was actually the next day. We backed out the afternoon before because of lack of blood and the fact that she shot him at 12 yards and he had made it further than we wanted. This was as we found him and taken from my phone. We got alot of good "staged" pictures once we got him back home on our big camera with the taxi eyes etc. They look alot better but good luck with me getting the pics away from my wife! She still has a death grip on the memory card! LOL
