Here is a brief guide to gauging trophy sizes for the vaal rhebok for the uninitiated based upon my personal experience and research:

6-7": respectable ram
8" : good trophy
9" : shoot him! SHOOT THE DAMN THING!
10" : I didn't know crosshairs could shake like that.

Dang we saw one real dandy this year while out hunting. the horns were well above it ears.

Like everything else you do not know what you missed, until you went by and asked what was that.

roy wormald said something very similar to me , when I watched a group of four of them in the east cape ,recently

That 8 incher is Rowland. I think you need to drop "SHOOT THE DAMN THING" one Category.
9, If you hesitate, your buddy already shot it.
10 plus; the PH may be pushing you out the way.

My PH almost DID push me out of the way!
You're right about the 8 incher. Getting excited just thinking about it

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
