Was cleaning my hunting rifles today and took out my vintage BSA Air Rifles to oil them too and wondered how many of you have / shoot some?
I have acquired 4 over the last few years and so wish I could hear what stories these little guns can share with us on the numerous "Big Game Hunts" they have been on during the many ours of fun kids had honing their hunting skills.
The far, right hand side one is .22 calibre and the rest .177, the one on the far left hand side is a neck-break type that has had its stock shaped to fit a left handed person.
They all still shoot well and some of them quit more accurately than what I could have imagined.

I haven't owned an air rifle since I was a kid.. but have been thinking about picking one up for a while now...

I used to be a terror on black birds and squirrels in the back yard with my cheap wal-mart crossman .177 back in the day..

I think it would be fun to use a quality air rifle on squirrel or rabbit and see how I fared on an actual hunt 35+ years later...

I still have my Benjiman 177cal gas pistol and my Crossman 22 cal Long barrel pump from when I was a kid

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
